Let’s Relax by Returning to Nature

Kartini – The fatigue felt by some people from daily routines is undoubtedly a problem that makes pressure worse, increasing stress levels. Fatigue and boredom that occur within us should not be left alone. There are many ways to relieve fatigue and boredom so that our body, soul, and mind are fresh and clear again.

One way to refresh ourselves from fatigue is to go to a green area to see the green scenery with fresh air, which will make our minds clear again. Breathing fresh air, seeing the expanse of shady trees, green leaves, and branches, and the sound of birds chirping make the mood very comfortable. Making our hearts, souls, and minds recover like a battery that has just been charged with new power.

The peace of mind that may not be obtained from the usual routines carried out every day will be paid off. There is nothing wrong with trying to visit a place in a green area, such as a garden, rice fields, hills, forest and so on. Alternatively, you can walk in the pine forest, spruce, and other places.

Allah SWT created the earth and its contents for us to enjoy; therefore, in addition to getting closer to Allah SWT, it is also an effort to contemplate nature, even if it is only enough to focus and pay attention to the surroundings. Contemplating nature is an excellent solution to recharge ourselves, which can be done by taking a moment to enjoy the beauty of the mountains, forests, and trees and enjoying the tranquility of the natural atmosphere.

There is no need to spend a lot of money to make our minds fresh and healthy. It only takes a desire in ourselves to be able to take the time to refresh ourselves from our daily routines. Contemplating nature is also one way we get closer to Allah SWT. Seeing the beauty of the natural paintings that Allah SWT created makes us realize how small we are in front of Allah and how Great Allah is in creating the earth and its contents.

Other things that can be done in nature, for example, by being silent while remembering Allah, reading a book, contemplating to plan something better than yesterday, just sitting, being silent, lying down or writing something about something we like. Moreover, we can recharge ourselves in nature whether it is done alone, with friends or with family.

Therefore, pampering yourself by getting closer to nature is good. It will be very beneficial for you to recharge your mind from routines that may make you stressed, full of pressure, and depressed, so there is no harm in trying.
